We created this resource hub to help individuals and couples like yourself without children navigate the unique challenges and opportunities of growing older.
Our journey began in Singapore, where a group of friends and family from diverse backgrounds found a common thread in their lives – we are all single or do not have children for various reasons. Despite our differences, they shared a love for life, a passion for travel, and an insatiable curiosity about the world.
Throughout our many adventures and late-night philosophical chats, we realised that our worries about ageing gracefully without children for caregiving and emotional support were not only our own.
Countless others in Singapore and across the globe share the same fears.
Determined to find solutions to address these concerns, we began researching extensively on topics such as healthcare, finances, housing, and social connections for those without children. Along the way, we discovered a glaring gap in useful resources catering specifically to people without children.
Driven by a desire to help others facing similar challenges, they had a brainwave – why not create a hub of sharing all the resources which we’ve found for ourselves?
And so, Age Alone Together was born.
People with children are certainly welcome to use this hub but we recognise the unique concerns of people without children. Beyond our uncontrollable addiction to smart alec gifs, we also hope to share practical tips, insightful articles, and inspiring stories that address the concerns of people like you and me.
